Today we have published our Annual Report & Accounts and Sustainability Report for 2024. Both cover the progress made over our last financial year and also outline our exciting plans for the future.   Our Annual Report has a central theme of ‘Unlocking our full potential’ and provides lots of colour on how both ambition and innovation will help us achieve our vision to be the most trusted and valuable brand in homewares and furniture for UK consumers. In our Sustainability Report we explore our commitment to ‘Being Good and Circular’ and the steps we are taking across our three pillars of Planet, Communities and People. Take a look at them both here: Annual Report: https://lnkd.in/ecQihGFQ Sustainability Report: https://lnkd.in/eRwQ3F9k #sustainability #homeofhome #annualreport

We have signed the Race at Work Charter 📢 We want Dunelm to be a place where all colleagues can feel that they belong and thrive. To help achieve this, we're excited to share that we’ve signed the Race at Work Charter. By signing the charter, we're joining hundreds of organisations that are working to create a more equitable workplace which supports people from underrepresented ethnic backgrounds. We are committed to improving representation at Dunelm and have created a strategy to do so. We took our time to sign the Race at Work Charter because we wanted to ensure that we were fully prepared to meet the commitments it requires. Rather than rushing, we focused on building a strong foundation —reviewing our policies, fostering internal conversations, and making meaningful changes—to ensure that when we signed, it would reflect genuine, long-term dedication to racial equality and inclusion. Signing the Race at Work Charter is a positive step forward. We know that building a truly inclusive workplace requires sustained effort and a willingness to learn, adapt, and grow. Our commitment to inclusion is not a one-time initiative, but an ongoing process that will shape our culture for years to come. Together, we can create a work environment where everyone, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to thrive.

🍰 🎉 Long Service Afternoon Tea 🍰 🎉 Last week we were proud to hold our annual Long Service Afternoon Tea. Over 50 of our colleagues came together to celebrate tenures from 20 years - 44 years in the business. Colleagues from all over attended, including representatives from 16 stores, our Manufacturing Centre, our Stoke Distribution Centre, Head Office, and Sunflex. We enjoyed an afternoon of tea and cake, live music and magic, as well as hearing from Bill, our Founder, Nick, our Chief Executive Officer and Amanda, our People and Stores Director. They were even taken on a trip down memory lane with Will, our Deputy Chairman. We've loved getting together to celebrate some of our brilliant colleagues, and we hope to continue to share their memories of Dunelm past, and ensure they're a part of our exciting future. #lifeatdunelm #findyourhappyplace

World Menopause Day 🎀 As today is #WorldMenopauseDay, and October is Menopause Awareness Month, this is a timely reminder for women to prioritise their health as they approach midlife. Throughout the month we have various support, discussions and a live event to help break taboo and improve women’s health and wellbeing by raising awareness about the symptoms of menopause and the support options available. We also held a live event with Aly Dilkes from Simply Menopause, where Aly shared her nearly 40 years' knowledge in the medical world with us, as an accredited specialist who is passionate about helping women understand their menopause. This was a great session busting myths and offering support and advice to help improve women’s health and wellbeing. As a business we are committed to supporting our colleagues at every life stage, which is why we have developed a menopause policy and menopause buddies within our teams to support anyone affected. ‘I am delighted to be the Exec Sponsor of the Gender Equality Network. It is so important everyone can be comfortable in their own skin at work and be able to bring their whole selves, be confident and unlock their full potential. My ambition and hope is that the network helps enable this by offering practical advice, support and meaningful change across many topics that make a difference’ – Amanda Cox, Stores & People Director ‘As a co-chair of the Gender Equality Network I am passionate about supporting women in the workplace. In my role as a People Partner I get great joy in making a difference. The Menopause effects so many women in so many ways, and to help raise awareness and support is really rewarding’ – Wendy Thomas, People Partner #lifeatdunelm
