Today marks a significant milestone for me as I celebrate my first year at EA First. It feels surreal to look back and realize that it's been a year since I made one of the biggest decisions of my professional and personal life – transitioning from a career in teaching to embarking on a new journey in recruitment. Reflecting on the past year, I'm often asked why I made the move from teaching to recruitment and whether I feel it was the right choice. Honestly, I can confidently say that not once have I looked back. While I cherished my previous career and the relationships I built, joining EA First presented the new challenge I needed to grow both personally and professionally. Joining EA First has been an incredibly rewarding experience, filled with learning, growth, and exciting opportunities. What a year it has been! From initially joining this amazing company to forming new relationships, gaining new skills, contributing to others finding their dream jobs and helping clients fill crucial roles, it's been a whirlwind of growth and fulfilment. And to top it all off, receiving a promotion within my first year has been the cherry on top. As I reflect on the past year, I'm filled with a sense of pride and accomplishment. Though the journey had its ups and downs, I wouldn't change a thing. I've learned so much about myself, the industry, and the importance of taking risks and embracing change. Sometimes, taking a leap into the unknown can be daunting, and there's always uncertainty about whether it's the right decision. But I am grateful for believing in myself and seizing the opportunity. I am excited to see what the future holds as I continue to grow and evolve in my role at EA First. Celebrating 5 years in business for any organisation is an achievement but in recruitment, even more so…which is why our recent anniversary celebration was such a milestone! We celebrated (as you would expect) in style but beyond the celebrations there’s a real excitement for what’s to come and our vision for the future of EA First. This combined with the promotion of Nathan Abbey made it a great memory. Joining us with no recruitment experience and learning from the ground up, Nathan has had some incredible wins and his commitment to the job and our business is second to none.
