Hats-Off yet again to our 'Street-Ranger' Team 🎩 Last week, our Rangers received information that a person in the centre of #York had potentially stolen a mobile phone 📱from inside the hand-bag of another member of public 🤨 .... .... a description was given and three of our Rangers quickly detained the suspect, North Yorkshire Police then searched the person, recovered several mobile-phones concealed on the suspect and made one arrest! .... result! 👊 📌 Incidents of 'Pickpockets' always rise during busy periods, so please please keep your valuables safe & secure 📌 🤝 'Street-Rangers' work primarily on behalf all the York BID Levy payers, but are very often first on the scene for all kinds of incidents 💪 Well done team! 👏👏👏 Scott Sinclair #patrol #reasurance

Eboracum was founded in 2011 and established in York by local-lad and former North Yorkshire Police Constable Carl Nickson. What started as a family run business has now developed into one of the area’s leading and go-to Security firms, with over 100 staff working mainly in the Greater-York area. Whilst adhering to our original ethics and values, we have a genuine passion for Security and are always working hard to raise the bar in the industry. Eboracum are extremely proud to run the ‘Street-Ranger’ project in the Centre of York on behalf of the ‘York BID’ (Business Improvement District). Winning the tender in 2016 our Ranger’s help to deter Anti-Social Behaviour, Low Level Crime, offer a friendly face to visitors and provide a fantastic service to the BID levy payers. In 2024 and as a direct result of the hard work conducted in York, Eboracum won the tender to provide the ‘Street Ranger’ service in the centre of Newcastle working closely with ‘NE1’. We work closely with strategic partners in the centre of York & Newcastle and look forward to developing our working relationships. As well as Security Guarding, we also offer a number of other services including Cleaning, Keyholding, Alarm Response, Holiday Let Support, Taxi Marshalling & Litter Picking … and in 2017 Eboracum won the tender to provide Security & Facilities Management at the ‘Vangarde Shopping Centre’ in York We constantly measure our business performance through KPI’s and critical success factors. This allows us to maintain continuous improvement and helps us to continue raising the bar in our Industry. Our SMT (Senior Management Team) have a wealth of experience and knowledge, not just in the Security Industry, but also working as front-line Response Police Officers, Loss Prevention, Retail Management, Marketing and Founding & Running Businesses. We collaborate with and support other security-based and crime prevention initiatives and are keen to support charities and good causes.

Our October Half Term in photos 📸 York is a brilliant place to be during school holidays! It's been a really fun week, so here's a snippet of what we've been up to... 🐉 Operations Manager Carl made friends with Ash the Dragon at our Dragon Experience afternoon on Parliament Street. 🚨 Thrilled to be joined by North Yorkshire Police who showed young people around a police van, plus RNLI & Street Angels York who were able to give out lots of useful info during the afternoon. 🐙 Nothing gets past our Street Rangers... even giant green tentacles! 🚿 Lots of work to keep Exhibition Square looking sparkling! 🎃 Thrilled to partner with Make It York to bring Sand In Your Eye to Parliament Street, to show us their incredible pumpkin creations. I am so grateful to all who turned out to support my 2025 launch event for the York Proms and the new Junior Proms last night! Using the Hospitium - the venue inside the Museum Gardens where we host the annual picnic concert - was a perfect choice and allowed people to see inside such a beautiful venue, some for the first time! Thank you so much to the York Museums Trust events team, especially Jess Robinson, for your help. I am so honoured to work with a wonderful location and organisation. The York Philharmonic Male Voice Choir (YPMVC), our specifical guest for next year’s proms, serenaded our guests with the most gorgeous renditions of songs in English, Welsh and even Swahili! Spine tingling! CEO of WAY Widowed and Young, Stephanie Patrick, gave a short speech on the charity, which the on-the-day event fundraising, and my personal fundraising, activities has raised £4000 for now. A charity close to my heart since losing my husband in 2020. I introduced our partner charity for the Junior Proms, York Inspirational Kids, and founder Ruth Thompson explained how the charity supports autistic, neurodivergent and disabled children and families across York. Thank you to Ainsty Ales for providing the welcome drinks, Sketch cafe at the Art gallery for providing the canapés, and some amazing helpers on the night including the ever dependable ✨Caroline Macdonald✨ and her husband Stewart, and Joe Allen. We announced our Gold sponsor (post coming soon!) and explained our other partnership and sponsor options.
