Today, on International Women's Day, Edinburgh Airport officially launched its STEM Centre - a dynamic space designed to inspire today's young people into careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. It was great to have Deputy First Minister Kate Forbes and Professor Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell, a pioneering astrophysicist, join our Chief Executive, Gordon Dewar, to open the centre and highlight the importance of women in STEM. We're proud to be recognised for our sustainability efforts at the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce Business Awards. 🌍| Our Greater Good sustainability strategy has undergone a refresh.   We are releasing the second version of Greater Good today to reflect where we are as a business and the changing environment around us.   The strategy continues to guide our approach to sustainability, which takes in climate responsibilities as well as social and economic impacts, and builds on the progress which has been made since Greater Good was first launched four years ago.   The four key pillars - Zero Carbon, Trusted Neighbour, Scotland's Best Business, and Enhancing Scotland - will remain, but there will be even more emphasis on:   ✈️ The important role of Sustainable Aviation Fuels in our industry. 🌱 Biodiversity, following the publication of our first Biodiversity Strategy. 🤝 Volunteering and community. 💜 Our approach to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.   You can read more about the progress made through Greater Good, and access the new strategy here: https://bit.ly/4hMiYGg   #sustainability #GreaterGood #EdinburghAirport #EDI #airports #environment #aviation
