Manchester Airport, proud to connect the North ✈️ Our journey has seen us evolve from an airport handling a few thousands passengers in 1938, to one welcoming 30m through our terminals a year today. With 50 airlines serving 200 destinations across four continents and a £1.3bn transformation programme, we're building a world-class airport that connects people to the world for business, leisure, education, family or new experiences. We are proud of our history, heritage and landscape, and the people, culture and warmth that makes your Northern airport. 🔊 Sound on for Stellify by Ian Brown.

We were delighted to speak to PwC about our £1.3 billion transformation programme, due for completion later this year. We’re Proud to Connect the North to the world and, through our transformation, we’ll connect to more destinations worldwide and elevate the passenger experience while doing so.
One of the things I love most about my role is the opportunity to hear about the fascinating work that PwC UK has been doing with our clients. MAG (Airports Group) is one of these clients and it was great to spend the day there recently with Emma Suchland learning about how it's transforming its workforce to deliver an improved service to an increasing number of passengers. I'd like to extend a huge thanks to Chris Woodroofe and Trudy Dunne-Kelsall for their time, as well as Michael Murphy-Pyle and Beccy Hutchinson for all their help in bringing this story to life. As always, this film is a classic example of teamwork making the dream work. So I'd also like to acknowledge the fab team I work with Will Sturgeon, Rachel Lovell, Rowena Daines, Rachel Smyth, Elliott Harvey, Emma D., Laura J. and Tony Bains. And of course, all the team at Casual 🚀 You can watch the short film including my starring and new role as a hand model here: https://pwc.to/3FrSmMa #ManchesterAirport #Transformation #Technology #Workforce #Growth

Manchester Airport was pleased to host the Liverpool-Manchester Railway Partnership Board, chaired by Huw Merriman. Our Managing Director Chris Woodroofe welcomed representatives from a number of organisations to support work to secure a new high-speed connection between the two cities, via Manchester Airport. Improving connectivity between the two key investment zones of Manchester and Liverpool, with stops at Manchester Airport and Warrington, is critical to maximising the economic potential of the North. We’re proud of our role on the Railway Board and our role in connecting the North.
