Recently, we took a short trip up the M56 to Runcorn to attend a vibrant Careers Fair at Ormiston Bolingbroke Academy. Jo-Anne Davies - Associate CIPD, our Learning and Development Manager, reflected on the event: “It was a fantastic day participating in the Year 9-13 Careers Fair, promoting our Apprenticeship Programmes. It was also wonderful to collaborate with TTE, our Engineering Apprenticeship training partners, in sharing the apprenticeship journey and outlining key expectations and milestones to the students.” Our stand was bustling with activity as Jo-Anne and Erin Newberry fielded numerous questions from inquisitive students, not only about our apprenticeship programmes but also about our decarbonisation plans. 🛫 ☀️ Here’s how we played our part in making your Summer holiday happen! 🛫 ☀️ Over the last four months, we provided the fuel for over 41,500 flights taking off from seven major UK airports. This means you may have been one of around 10.5 million passengers on a plane that we powered, with a majority of this jet fuel being supplied straight from our Stanlow refinery based in North West England. From short-haul trips in Europe to flights destined for places around the globe, our reliable and resilient product availability helped us deliver a strong performance for our customers during the summer holiday season. All year round, we make holidays happen by proudly serving some of the most prominent names in global aviation. With direct fuel supply agreements with leading UK, European, and international carriers, we provide jet fuel on both a wholesale and direct-to-plane basis for passenger and cargo markets. Our team recently visited University of Central Lancashire to engage with students about our Graduate Development Programme. Katie Lowry, a new graduate at EET Fuels, joined us at the stand and shared her experience: “As a new graduate, it was fantastic to represent EET Fuels at this event. Many enthusiastic students were eager to learn more about our graduate scheme and what we offer.
