About us

Prof Sir John Bell leads multi-disciplinary teams at EIT Oxford – a major new interdisciplinary research and development facility that will support EIT’s mission to develop and deploy technology in pursuit of solving humanity’s most challenging and enduring problems. EIT seeks to accelerate innovation in health & medical science, food security & sustainable agriculture, climate change & clean energy and government innovation & era of artificial intelligence. The EIT Oxford campus will incorporate more than 30,000m2 of research laboratory space, an oncology and preventative care clinic, and educational and gathering spaces to support ongoing work in EIT’s humane endeavours. The facility’s location on the Oxford Science Park will further EIT’s current partnerships in the Oxford biotech and technology communities, expand collaborations with the University of Oxford, and support the new Ellison Scholars programme.
