The US energy transition set RECORDS in 2024 🇺🇸 The highlights: 🏆 Solar added a record 64 TWh of electricity generation 🏆 Wind and solar generated a record 17% of US electricity 🏆 Coal fell to a record low of only 15% of electricity That means that the US generated more electricity from wind and solar than from coal for the FIRST time last year. 24 states have also reached this milestone individually, with Illinois being the latest to join the club.
