Inspiring and thought-provoking day at the Engage Future of Work Conference. Lots of great speakers and case studies showing just how important Internal Comms is in driving colleague engagement and giving people a genuine feeling of purpose and pride in their work. Some great insights into how other organisations are cutting through the noise to become internal 'mediocrity slayers', curating meaningful content that stands out. Engage Employee Kirsty Anderson

Global HR Director || BTA 2024 Finalist | Colleague Experience | Engagement | Culture | Inclusion | Certified Coach | APM Ambassador

The next chapter is all about the colleague experience. This was the takeaway from a morning spent at the Engage Employee Future of Work conference on Wednesday. Wonderful to chat with Jo Moffatt on stage about my journey to Global HR Director - including leadership style, the influence of mentors and embracing a non-linear trajectory… Nothing is wasted ✨✨✨ A joy to meet Valeria Winkworth - reminding us to keep the people experience at the centre of transformation projects. And some slightly startling facts from Matt Burney regarding the impact of AI and skills-based work [top tip : enrol on a bricklayer course…] 💡 Really enjoyed the panel discussion with Sophie Theen and Josh Novelle covering culture, engagement (and turnover), and the impact of comms. Thanks Katie Donaldson for sliding in the DMs to get me on stage! A great team effort and inspiring day all round - long may conferences like these continue! Huge appreciation for my impromptu cheerleaders on the day Afua, Kym, Evelyn 🎊🎊🎊 #speaker #conference #engagement #ColleagueExperience #HR #people #inspiration

Happy I could make time and fly to London to attend the Future of Work Engage Employee conference this week 🇬🇧🎡 The discussions on the future of workplace transformation across the EU were incredibly insightful. The challenge of transformation, engaging people, and the connection between people and technology is evident everywhere – from large corporations to smaller companies. 🤯 So, will leave here just three words to work on in the future: 1. Transformation – constant ♾️ 2. Humans@center – customers&employees 3. AI – working 🤝 with people London, see you next year with some good reference stories from SEE region 😉🫢 #FutureOfWork #digitalworkplace #EmployeeEngagement

    Collaborate. Engage. Transform.

Networking ✅ Insights ✅ Tips I can bring into my role✅ The Future of Work conference was full of so many amazing things I’m finding it hard to wrap it up. The Klaxoon UK Team hit the road yesterday to attend one of our favourite events of the year. If you’re looking for content then this event is a must. Starting off strong, Valeria Winkworth from EY shared some mind-blowing insights about the impact human elements have on transformation projects. By understanding the negative feelings surrounding initiatives, and collaborating with teams to solve pain points managers can turn that fear and doubt into an excitement for change. Gutted I had to miss our stand neighbours chat, but duty calls!  I’ll have to catch you next time Sam! Then we got to my favourite part - MEETING SO MANY AMAZING PEOPLE.  Huge thank you to Stuart Thomas, Jake Wall, Francis Hornak, Alexa Belli, Rachel Hill, Louise Theophile, Christos Malliaros CPsychol AFBPsS, Rachelle Hembury, @sarah norton, Catherine Rennie, Kevin M., Sophia Kaccouris and Lucy Hussey - you really made the event shine! To close out the Collaboration stage we had our very own Harry Harvey discussing how putting people at the centre of your work initiatives can facilitate collaboration and turbocharge engagement. More than 40 people followed along with our interactive Klaxoon Session. They shared some interesting insights into the challenges teams are facing when attracting/retaining talent, as well as how our audience felt about the state of collaboration at their own workplaces…. Stay tuned for more info ;) TL;DR -  If you’re looking for a day of insights, meeting some incredible people and some seriously tasty snacks, I’ll see you at the next Engage Employee event. #Events #collaboration #networking

AI is changing the world - I am here to supercharge that change | Connecting HR and Tech | 12+ Years Leading People & Product Initiatives | opinions expressed are my own

Just got back from the Engage Employee "Future of Work" conference, thanks to Maurik Dippel and the CircleLytics team. Great to finally meet in person 👋 As a product manager in HR, these insights are gold. Understanding how AI, hybrid work, and automation shape the workplace helps us build products that truly resonate with Gen Z and the next-gen workforce. We’re not just building features—we’re building the future! P. S. took a moment to give back too—planted five trees in Senegal with Sociabble 🌱 Thank you Red Covacic. It’s all about creating meaningful impact, inside and outside the workplace. #FutureOfWork #HR #EmployeeEngagement

Things I learned about #internalcomms and #employeeexperience at Engage Employees' very interesting Future of Work Conference yesterday:   1. We're all suffering with information overload and channel proliferation. Despite us talking about this for years (and spending more and more money on tech), we don't appear to be getting any closer to resolving this.   2. There's a clear link between digital communications and employee experience, with growing evidence that frustrating digital journeys and fragmentated systems/information reduce productivity and lead to disengagement.   3. Artificial intelligence is clearly changing things (chat bots, enhanced search etc.). But it has limitations, and products are being dressed up as AI when really they're just interesting uses of tech.   4. Regardless of which trade conference you go to, and no matter how mundane the subject matter, there will always be pink lighting and loud music. I have no idea why. ____   So how do we do in response? My thoughts are:   1. We need to respond seriously to information overload and channel proliferation. Invest in a small number of channels and platforms, with clear governance and use cases. Just because we *can* have a host of shiny new platforms doesn't mean we *should*.   2. We have to work holistically across functions. It's no longer ok to see IT systems, employee engagement and internal communications as separate entities. They're all part of the digital experience, and the sooner we start working together to improve things, the better.   3. We should embrace AI where it adds value to communications and the employee experience. But we have to take care not to always believe the hype (particularly when someone's trying to sell us something!)   I'm not sure what the answer is on pink lighting and loud music, but I'm very open to suggestions....

SDR @ Cocentric | Uniting Teams & Enhancing Productivity

Unsure if everyone on LinkedIn knows that Cocentric went to Future of Work by Engage Employee yesterday??? I'll post about it once more just to be sure. But seriously, it was a great day catching up with people in the industry and learning about the latest trends. Here are some key takeaways from the talks throughout the day: - Workplace culture is everything. We saw first hand how companies that prioritise employee engagement and a positive work environment are seeing incredible results - The AI revolution is here to stay. It's mind blowing to see how AI is transforming industries and making our lives easier - Disengagement is a major issue in the workplace. It is more important now than ever to find creative ways to keep employees motivated and engaged. Thanks to all who visited our stand and enjoy the special socks! 🧦 #BuildingAConnectedWorkingWorld #InternalCommunications #EmployeeEngagement
