On Monday, we gathered at the iconic 22 Bishopsgate for our annual kick off event. It was the perfect backdrop to align our team, reflect on our journey, and set the tone for the year ahead. Gateway 2 approval received from the Building Safety Regulator! Excellent to receive notification yesterday that one of our cladding remediation schemes in Aldgate has received Gateway 2 approval! An incredible amount of hard work from the team pulling together a comprehensive design package based on detailed intrusive surveys completed earlier this year. All eyes are looking ahead to starting on site as soon as possible next year with our site welfare already in place ready to go! Envoy Projects Ltd are engaged as the BSA Principal Designer and Principal Contractor for the remediation works, which include replacement of ACM cladding and combustible insulation behind terracotta and aluminium cladding. It was great to attend the TPI Annual Conference 2024 this year - a fantastic event filled with insightful sessions, practical advice, and plenty of engaging discussions. We connected with numerous managing agents to dive deeper into the challenges they face in navigating fire safety issues and supporting residents during remediation. The invaluable feedback we gained is already helping us refine our approach to prioritize resident safety and welfare. Tim Galloway & Jaclyn Mangaroo MCIM's session on building safety regulations offered critical insights, emphasizing that the Safety Case Report isn’t just a regulatory formality but a crucial tool for ensuring building safety. Crown Wharf, a residential scheme in Stratford, in partnership with Haus Block Management & Envoy Projects Ltd recently obtained an EWS1 form after completing extensive remediation works. The project required a full turnkey solution to replace combustible cladding materials, including ACM, HPL, Timber cladding, combustible insulation, and render systems.
