🚨 We're recruiting a Funding Officer for Our Natural World 🚨 We're looking for someone who is passionate about nature and the environment who is proactive, organised, and naturally curious with a solution-oriented mindset. They will join Esmée's Our Natural World team and will provide support to the assessment and management of grant applications, funding and development of our programmes and projects. This will involve undertaking research, speaking to our partners and learning from their work, helping to assess funding applications and writing summaries for our Trustees. We’re pleased to support a new series of free lunchtime webinars on relational practice with care experienced young people 🚀   The series features insights from a peer learning programme to support local authorities and charities working with care experienced young people run jointly by Catch22’s National Leaving Care Benchmarking Forum, ThemPra Social Pedagogy CIC and Esmée’s Leaving Care Learning Programme.   The programme generated a wealth of learning materials, resources and links, which will be introduced in the webinars as well as be made available online. It's a good thing once in a while to take a step back and appreciate the progress. The UK has a thriving impact investment ecosystem, and I enjoyed feeding into this City of London Corporation and British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA) partnership to support the UK as a Centre of Excellence for Impact Investing. It's all worth a read, but page 23 looks at the fantastic Ooooby as a case study - a UK food system venture we have invested into.
