We’ve noticed that more and more parents are teaming up with their friends and family when going on holiday. So we surveyed over 4000 Eurocamp holidaymakers to find out why. 👉 64% have been away with a Holiday Squad in the past two years. 👉 72% plan on forming one. 👉 44% formed their Holiday Squad with their oldest friends. 👉 33% team up with their siblings’ families. 👉 17% choose parents of their children’s friends. So why are they trending? 68% said they return feeling more refreshed because childcare has been shared, 50% said it's because their kids had other children to play and make memories with, and 19% said splitting the cost of a holiday was an important factor. Yesterday, colleagues from Eurocamp’s Marketing and Commercial teams teamed up with icelolly.com to take part in the MSC Cup charity football tournament at Chelsea Football Club. The event raised a total of over £32,000 for Reuben's Retreat, a charity that supports families who have suffered child bereavement or a child living with medical complexities. Although we missed out on the trophy, we want to extend a huge thanks to everyone who helped organise a great day for such a fantastic cause. Well done everyone!
