Together with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency and UEFA, we are proud to support the #UnityEuroCup. Kicking off today, the unique seven-a-side tournament features 16 amateur teams including 180 boys and girls, and 50 support staff from refugee and host communities, competing in 33 matches held in Nyom, Switzerland. The need to raise awareness of the impact of children and young people living within vulnerable communities has never been greater. According to the UNHCR, there are currently more than 117 million forcibly displaced people globally with an estimated 40 per cent aged below 18 years of age. The Unity Euro Cup was founded by the UNHCR and UEFA in 2021 through a shared mission to strengthen the social cohesion and peaceful coexistence of communities. The tournament will enhance social inclusion through football while showcasing the power of sport in uniting communities.

🚀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱: 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗔 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗦!   The 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ season calendars have been revealed for 3️⃣ thrilling motorsport and cycling series promoted by the events division of Warner Bros. Discovery 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀!   🚵♀️ WHOOP 𝗨𝗖𝗜 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀: Visiting 🔟 countries across 1️⃣5️⃣ rounds, this marks the 3️⃣rd consecutive season bringing all major mountain bike formats under one umbrella. The 𝗨𝗖𝗜 𝗗𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝘂𝗽 calendar expands to 🔟 rounds, meeting growing demand from our mountain bike audience, who enjoy the action on WBD's extensive broadcast network of channels and partners. Additionally, 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ will feature 🔟 𝗨𝗖𝗜 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀-𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝘂𝗽 events and 7️⃣ Enduro World Cup rounds, with a new venue added to the calendar and the return of fan-favourite locations, making it an unmissable year for mountain bike fans!   🏍️ 𝗙𝗜𝗠 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝘅: The SGP format celebrates its 3️⃣0️⃣th anniversary with 🔟 rounds across 7️⃣ different countries. For the first time ever, Great Britain will host two 𝗙𝗜𝗠 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗚𝗣 rounds, in Cardiff and Manchester!   🏍️ 𝗙𝗜𝗠 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽: Continuing to build on its stability and success, the 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ season will feature 4️⃣ iconic events: the 2️⃣4️⃣ 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘀, the 8️⃣ 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗽𝗮 in Belgium, the legendary 𝗦𝘂𝘇𝘂𝗸𝗮 8️⃣ 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 in Japan, and the 𝗕𝗼𝗹 𝗱'𝗼𝗿 to wrap up the season. Additionally, a brand-new entry-level 𝗙𝗜𝗠 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗵𝘆 will be introduced to reinforce the endurance base, nurture new talent, and support the ongoing growth of endurance racing.   🌟 With 3️⃣0️⃣ race weekends across 3️⃣ continents, 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ is set to be an extraordinary year for 𝗪𝗕𝗗 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀! We're delighted to announce that the leading German sports magazine SPORT BILD has awarded Eurosport with the title of best sports channel in Germany. Every week since 2002, SPORT BILD has rated sports broadcasts in Germany and awards between one point (own goal) and five points (bullseye!) for the editorial coverage. Each year, the highest ranked winner is honoured as TV sports editorial team of the year with Eurosport securing the top score over the 2023/2024 season. We were delighted to welcome SPORT BILD editor Steven Jörgensen to WBD House - our Parisian studios used for the Olympics - to congratulate Jochen Gundel and the German editorial team. He writes: "The Eurosport studio at the Olympic Games enjoys a direct view to the Arc de Triomphe, which is particularly fitting given that the sports channel has achieved a significant triumph with winning the TV ranking this year. Eurosport impressed with its coverage of the Olympics, cycling (including the Tour de France), the tennis Grand Slams, winter sports, and snooker. The expertise of the experts and commentators and the passion they brought to their roles were particularly noteworthy in the reviews."

Discovery saw record viewership and engagement across all platforms – spanning free-to-air, pay-tv, streaming, web and social – during Olympic Games Paris 2024, which came to an end with the Closing Ceremony on Sunday 11 August 2024.   Supercharged by the recent launch of Max in 25 European markets, Paris 2024 marks the first real ‘streaming Olympics’ in Europe, as more people streamed more Olympics content for longer than ever before.
