Our newest Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner, TCL , visited the Olympic House this week for several days of workshops. The IOC and the TCL Olympic Activation Team exchanged ideas on how they will help ensure delivery of games time services and products. The IOC team had the pleasure of hosting TCL for a Breakfast & Learn session, where they shared insights into their business and longstanding commitment to supporting sports around the world. 📌 The IOC has partnered with Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner Deloitte to develop the Olympic Fan Data Platform – an innovative solution that unifies fan data to deliver deeper insights, advanced segmentation and personalised audience engagement across Olympic digital channels. Deloitte’s experience in strategy, design and implementation contributed to the success of the project, enabling the IOC to regularly engage 16 million fans during the Olympic Games Paris 2024. As we move towards the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 and beyond, the platform continues to evolve, unlocking more meaningful fan experiences and increased audience loyalty. Thanks to ongoing support from Deloitte, this digital transformation initiative will continue to unlock new capabilities while addressing some of the key challenges related to fan expectations, audience understanding, operational efficiencies and value creation. IOC President Thomas Bach and IOC President-elect Kirsty Coventry held their first meeting this morning to prepare for the transition. They established a roadmap and agreed that the decisions that need to be taken in the next three months will always be discussed together, and that no decision would be taken that is not in line with the opinion of the President-elect. They will also decide which of them takes part in which meetings and events, and which they will do together. This will ensure that no time will be lost, and that the IOC can continue to work at full speed for the sake of the Olympic Movement. #Olympics

Thomas Bach was yesterday elected Honorary President for Life of the IOC, a position he will take up when his term of office as IOC President ends after 23 June 2025. The IOC Members accepted the proposal unanimously as they rose in a standing ovation after the proposal was made to the 144th IOC Session by IOC First Vice-President Nicole Hoevertsz on behalf of the IOC Executive Board in Olympia (Costa Navarino), Greece. The reforms of Olympic Agenda have created a solid long-term financial base for the IOC, with commercial revenues up by 60 per cent since 2012: 📌 USD 7.7 billion in revenue for 2021-2024 and USD 7.5 billion secured for the next Olympiad (2025-2028) 📌 The IOC continues to distribute 90 per cent of its revenue for the benefit of the Olympic Movement, to support athletes and sporting organisations, and for the development of sport worldwide 📌 This means that over the last four years, the IOC has distributed the equivalent of USD 4.7 million every day to help athletes and sports organisations at all levels around the world Full details 👉 https://lnkd.in/e9ZP5Fkc
