Ferguson Mann Architects is an architectural practice with a national reputation for award-winning architecture, urban design, conservation and creative regeneration. We aim to create and conserve special buildings and places that respond to the 'genius of the place', the client's vision and the project brief, always guided by the principles of sustainability. We have always had a clear focus on both design excellence and adding value to projects. Although work is varied in type and scale, the practice concentrates on the following sectors: - Residential - Mixed-Use - Education - Arts and Leisure - Community - Workplace Since 1978, when the practice was established, the quality of our work has been recognised across a range of awards including National RIBA Awards, RICS Conservation Awards, Civic Trust Awards, Housing Design Awards and numerous regional design awards.

Great to be working with Bath & North East Somerset Council, Method Consulting and Skeletal Consulting Engineers Limited to bring life to redundant high street premises.
Following the recent planning submission, FMA have been preparing the Tender pack for the fit-out of two empty commercial units on Temple Street in Keynsham on behalf of our client BANES. The project also involves work to improve the future operation of the building and to minimise the carbon impact through the upgrading of the thermal performance and retaining as much of the existing building as possible. Our Associate and Head of Sustainable Design Andrew Kemp attended the launch of YTL Construction's new Brabazon development in north Bristol at an event in London yesterday. Andrew is leading the Hangar 16u project that is now on site, and will be one of the key destinations within the development. Yesterday I was privileged to attend the launch of the #Brabazon New Town Development and the YTL Arena Bristol in the Royal Lancaster Hotel London. It’s amazing to be part of one of the largest brownfield regeneration projects in the UK and be helping to build a new community in Bristol. The development includes new low energy homes, schools, workplaces and shops, FMA are working on a new community hub as part of this bringing a listed hangar back into use. It was an opportunity to reflect on the history of the site and inspiring to hear the Malaysian Prime Minister speak in support of the development and about how investment can have a transformative effect on communities and individuals through development. Thanks to the YTL team for hosting a great event, an excellent start to the year.
