A very exciting day for our Huddersfield office who had a special visitor on Friday morning 🤝✨ It was a pleasure to welcome Harpreet Uppal, Labour MP for Huddersfield, and show her around our local office, where she met our staff and learned about our practice and our work across the country. We also shared some of our local projects with her, focusing on our extensive work within Huddersfield town centre on behalf of our valued clients such as The University of Huddersfield, Kirklees Council, The Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) and a wealth of independent businesses. Get a bird’s eye view of the Grade I Listed Chester Crown Court 🐦 Our geomatics consultancy team recently carried out a drone survey of the roof at Chester Crown Court, using sophisticated drone technology. Originally completed in 1801, the building is historically sensitive, and this method removes the risk of any damage being caused to the building, without the need for time consuming and expensive scaffolding. Through the creation of detailed roof plans, the survey will inform any necessary repair and maintenance works, prolonging the life of this historic building. 👀 Can you spot the statue of Queen Victoria? Check out the latest progress on site at South and West Fife High School. 🏗️ Despite a frosty start to the day, we were thrilled to kick off the year with a site visit to see the fantastic progress being made! 🍃 Targeting Passivhaus Classic certification, this inclusive and sustainable secondary school is replacing the outdated Inverkeithing High School. Working with Fife Council, we are shaping a modern and innovative space, which promotes both learning and community engagement now and in the future.
