It’s been five years since the start of the global COVID-19 pandemic, though the recovery in travel and the uptake of travel insurance has varied across different markets. Research by Finaccord shared in this ITIJ: International Travel & Health Insurance Journal article shows that the recovery in Australia was the most dramatic with "residents clearly keen to get back out across the world" and "that Zurich Insurance appeared to have extended its leading position there through its Cover-More Travel Insurance brand." Justin Sebire, CEO Asia Pacific for Zurich Cover-More said Australians have always been avid travelers and attachment rates for travel insurance have been higher following the pandemic though insurance uptake in Australia has always been significantly higher than in other APAC countries. #travelinsurance #morecare #morecover #travel   https://lnkd.in/gFvHcv-u

With travel now rebounding, insights reveal a complex recovery where some regions have not yet returned to pre-pandemic levels. Insurance Programs for Multinationals in Selected Global Markets 2024 Insurance programs for multinational companies have become more common and more complex as companies continue to expand their presence outside their home country and require specialised solutions to cover their insurance needs across multiple jurisdictions.   Finaccord has produced this report to give insurers a comprehensive view of the dynamic multinational insurance landscape. The report is divided into four sections:   •             Market Size and Opportunity Finaccord established the number of companies based in ten countries (Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, the UK and the US) with a turnover in excess of USD 50 million and operations in at least two countries.
