Flann is proud to support XDLINX Space Labs in creating the miniaturised E-band SATCOM payload, now in Low Earth Orbit (LEO). Elevation-1, the nano-satellite from Almagset Space Corporation, was launched on January 14th aboard SpaceX’s Transporter-12. Just yesterday, the satellite successfully transmitted its first message, “Hello from space,” marking the beginning of its mission. Waveguide Switches are an important part of RF networks and systems, and as many sectors continue to move higher in frequency, the demand for these critical instruments remains present but with new challenges surrounding manufacturability and performance. Overcoming these challenges, our new waveguide switch range has now been extended in frequency to 330 GHz (WG32/WR3.4), and we are proud to remain at the forefront of their development. Since the early 1970s, we have been successfully offering market-leading switches in a world increasingly reliant on high-frequency technologies.
