My favourite ad this week ❤️ How to break the rules to tell a story. System1 and JCDecaux have now tested hundreds of OOH campaigns with 35,000+ people, measuring their branded emotional response to predict the effectiveness of the creative. We've nailed some pretty simple creative principles. Big brand assets or product shots, a creative idea that lands in a few seconds, with just a few words. That appears to leave little room for creativity. Not true! The most brilliant creative ideas are simple enough to land in OOH. The real powerful ones even play with these "rules". Playing with brand assets. Playing with culture. Playing with copy. Black Friday is 8 weeks away and it seems to me the top topic for most of our clients. Whilst the cost of online raises, meaning that in some cases you have to spend 2x to get the same results, DOOH is a very attractive top of the funnel alternative. A lot of brands are already booking priming campaigns, before the BFCM. As a results we are seeing some locations sold at 90% for Q4. Can there more space created in the real world? The short answer is not. Whilst there are more screen being installed, the space we have ia the space we have to work with. So what are we going to?
