🚨 Big changes for financial services in the UK 🚨 If your business relies on third-party service providers (and let’s be honest, what company doesn’t 🙄? ), you need to know about the Critical Third Party (CTP) Oversight Regime, which is now officially in effect as of earlier this year. It’s pretty chunky 🍫. But, in short? The Bank of England, FCA, and PRA now have new powers to regulate critical service providers that financial firms depend on. This is a game-changer for compliance, operational resilience, and risk management. If you’re also dealing with DORA in the EU, you’ll need to juggle both frameworks to stay compliant across jurisdictions. No pressure 😅 So, what does this mean for you? And how can you ensure your business is on the right side of the regulations? We break it all down in our latest blog post ➡️ https://lnkd.in/ex2CaTXx #PoweringTheHyperAmbitious #FoundersLaw #RegulationUpdates #Payments Amy Parkinson Lynda Ignacio

Last night, we put the very cunning and strategic legal minds of Founders Law to the test and took part in an escape room 🗝️. Two teams, each with the same mission: break free before the clock runs out ⏳. Put it this way. Some of us cracked the codes like seasoned solicitors and others... well, let's just hope their legal arguments are stronger than their puzzle-solving skills... 👀 Massive thanks to Isobella D'Elia and Cindy Meissner for organising. Teamwork really does make the dream work 👯 #PoweringTheHyperAmbitious #LegalAdvice #EscapeRoom

🪞 A moment of reflection 🪞 Last week, we, like half the nation, were glued to Jamie Laing's ultra-marathon challenge 🏃 where we saw him raise a whopping £2m for Comic Relief. Over 150 miles across 5 days, with pretty much zero training. He cried. He broke down. He let it all out. We saw Jamie in a lot of pain, but we also saw him show a remarkable amount of determination. His motto for the week was to "put one foot in front of the other and keep moving". It got us thinking: Founders do this all the time - minus the blisters (hopefully). They dive headfirst into fundraising, scaling, or expanding into new markets, often without the right prep. Bold? Absolutely. Brave? For sure. But, just like running an ultra-marathon, going in without a strategy can leave you hitting the wall at mile 80. That’s where we come in 🚀 . At Founders Law, we’re the legal support crew, ensuring you don’t run out of steam when it matters most 💨 . Whether it’s fundraising, IP protection, or commercial contracts, we keep you fuelled, focused, and legally covered so you can continue to put one foot in front of the other and keep moving forward. If you want a game plan that gets you across the finish line in one piece - let’s talk. #PoweringTheyHyperAmbitious #UltraMarathon #StartupLife #FoundersLaw #JamieLaing #BusinessEndurance
