Our flooring solutions focused on functionality and sustainability, incorporating a "reuse, repurpose, recycle" approach to minimize waste while enhancing key areas like the reception, customer hall, and staff wellness spaces. The space is a perfect showcase of a sustainable, flexible workplace and an investment in the future of Glasgow city centre. A key discussion point was the ongoing debate around the optimum attendance model, particularly with our collective responsibility for mentoring the next generation of Engineers and Designers, with all agreeing that the office design and city centre location are key factors in staff attraction and retention, as well as providing the 'pull' into the office where face to face collaboration yields the best results for the business. Sustainability goals are evident throughout, from the choice of building through the flexible planning, reused furniture and low embodied carbon materials. We’re proud of this BCO shortlisted project, delivered by our Design and Build team, a space that continues to 'wow' any time we visit.
