About us
Genius Within CIC are working towards a future where all neurodivergent adults will be able to maximise their potential and work to their strengths; where employers support their neurodiverse teams to thrive. It is our mission to ensure ND people with problems at work or in custody receive the diagnosis, coaching and support that they need. We have created the Genius Finder psychometric assessment tool to help employers provide reasonable adjustments and useful strategies to all of their employees without the need for diagnosis gate-keeping. We provide e-Learning, assessments, coaching, awareness training and In work support alongside social inclusion work and services for young people. Jacqui Wallis leads Genius Within as our CEO, as a proud dyslexic she is motivated to spread the message of neuro-inclusion. Our Founder Dr Nancy Doyle (a proud ADHD-er) is the founding member of a British Psychological Society Working Group, providing guidance to other Psychologists in the field. Nancy wrote a definitive guide to neurodiversity at work for the British Psychological Society and has contributed to many other publications and expert reference groups with organisations such as ACAS, ERSA and the DWP. Nancy’s research work in evaluating coaching and demonstrating a tangible impact from managers’ perspectives was commended by the British Psychological society, in their 2013 annual Occupational Psychology Awards.

🌟 Celebrating Success at HMP Lewes! 🌟 Last Friday, I wrapped up the delivery of the #GeniusWithin group work programme at HMP Lewes. What an incredible 6 weeks it has been with the Memory Genius! Our goal was to enhance the working memory of #neurodivergent men, and the results are already showing. It’s been amazing to see the men gain confidence in using their visual memory and learn new strategies for time management, organisation, communication and stress management. Each participant had the chance to complete the Criminal Justice version of the Genius Within CIC Genius Finder. This profiler has provided valuable insights into their strengths, competencies, and areas for development. It’s was fantastic to see the men using this tool and for the staff at HMP Lewes to get some recommendations for how to implement supportive adjustments. A huge thank you to all the men and staff at HMP Lewes for their dedication and support in making this group a success. Together, we’re making a difference! Morning! Sharing my thoughts on the neurodiversity cost model and how it is failing thousands of people and businesses right now. My colleagues and I have been working our socks off to find ways to make support and expertise more accessible. The interactive Genius Finder will let you play with strategies and personal development until you find what works for you. You can print off a short, customised report or a long one, depending on how much detail you like. It is work focused, a spiky profile of strengths and challenges but no diagnosis recommendations. So you can talk to your boss and share the information without breaking confidentiality. Nowhere does it mention ND conditions, just practical, work focused profiling and planning.
