We were delighted to join apprentices and Deputy First Minister Huw Irranca-Davies MS at Persimmon Homes’ Training Academy in Llanilid. In conjunction with Coleg Penybont | Bridgend College, the Academy has supported over 200 apprentices since 2018. Its new pilot programme, launched during National Apprenticeship Week, will see apprentices teach the next generation of housebuilders. Julia Stevens, CITB’s Engagement Director (Wales), was on hand to speak with ITV Wales about the importance of apprenticeships to the construction industry. #Apprenticeships #CITB #CareersInConstruction --- Roedd yn bleser gennym ymuno â phrentisiaid a’r Dirprwy Brif Weinidog Huw Irranca-Davies AS yn Academi Hyfforddi Persimmon Homes yn Llanilid. Ar y cyd â Choleg Penybont | Bridgend College, mae'r Academi wedi cefnogi dros 200 o brentisiaid ers 2018. Bydd ei raglen beilot newydd, a lansiwyd yn ystod Wythnos Genedlaethol Prentisiaethau, yn gweld prentisiaid yn addysgu'r genhedlaeth nesaf o adeiladwyr tai. Roedd Julia Stevens, Cyfarwyddwr Ymgysylltu CITB (Cymru), wrth law i siarad ag ITV Cymru am bwysigrwydd prentisiaethau i’r diwydiant adeiladu. #Prentisiaethau #GyrfaoeddMewnAdeiladu
