About us
Giving is Great is an initiative by The EQ Foundation (#eqfoundation) to help donors analyse charities and make it easier for smaller charities to raise funds. Our database has almost 200,00 charities (all of those registered in the UK plus a few social enterprises and overseas charities). As well as displaying the publicly available data we provide commentary on the finances and governance - identifying areas such as Boards which are male or stale, where financial reporting is not compliant and where the financial situation needs investigating.
