Our Introduction to Media Composer and Post Production course goes beyond simply teaching software skills! It explores how this software is utilised in the TV and film industry, providing you with a solid foundation to enhance your skills and advance your career. And for the first time we're coming to Caernarfon! https://lnkd.in/euYfypNV This training session will give you an overview of the software and is an excellent entry into professional editing using Media Composer. Dates: Saturday and Sunday, 17th & 18th May 2025 We’ll cover: 💻 An introduction to the layout and tools used in Media Composer 🎞️ An introduction to collaborative working in post production 🎛️ Using the software to organise, view and cut content 🎥 Building a sequence and adding audio 📺 Exporting edits for viewing And lots more! This programme is fully funded and has received support from the Welsh Government via Creative Wales. This means that as long as you live or work in Wales, you won’t have to pay a thing! There is an application process since we only have 6 slots per session, but don’t worry—we’ll be running this sessions again later in the year so you’ll have another chance to join. What a weekend! We had the honour of delivering the 2025 1st Assistant Editor stepping up session for ScreenSkills led by the incredible Jack Brown BFE! Four days of in-depth training on the skills and responsibilities of a 1st AE, delivered in the heart of Gorilla—giving a realistic insight into what it takes to support the edit, the editor, and the production team.
