Bringing back the ‘wild’ side of Monmouthshire.

About us

We are the Grange Project; an 80 acre community rewilding project in rural Monmouthshire established in 2023, with aspirations to educate and inspire beyond our physical boundaries. The rewilding plan and interventioins will be managed by three groups: Youngwilders (a youth led non-profit focused on getting young people aged 18-25 into nature conservation), school children across Monmouthshire and the Grange Project volunteer community. So far we've been busy surveying the landscape, recruiting the ecosystem services of two pigs and introducing diversity through tree planting, brash piles and invertebrate banks. We document our journey through the Wilder Podcast, where we're also in conversation with experts about topics related to rewilding, conservation and climate action. You can follow us through the podcast, our social media channels or join the WhatsApp community via our website. We can't wait to welcome visitors to the project in 2025, with big plans for two tiny cabins, an education centre and our permissive trail. At the Grange Project, we're more than just a rewilding initiative; we're a community passionate about cultivating a sustainable future. We'd love you to join us on the journey.
