Last weekend we had the pleasure of meeting some very inspiring people, in an equally inspiring setting. Chloe Constable and Tom Constable are tackling climate change in the most literal and direct way: 🪵 Implementing #rewilding techniques across their 80 acre farm 🐖 Exploring potential regenerative farming methods 🎧 Raising awareness through their brilliant podcast: https://lnkd.in/eyX-WZcC 🌳 Educating local school children about #tinyforests 🧘🏽♀️ Promoting health and wellbeing via corporate away days ♻️ Engaging with their local #community on volunteering days It was fantastic to walk around the farm, hearing Chloe speak so passionately about what they are hoping to achieve there. As landscape architects, we have the opportunity to shape places (sometimes at a catchment scale) to increase biodiversity, improve water management, protect flora and fauna and enhance people’s experience of nature. We are lucky to have skills that allow us to see beyond the “red line” boundary of a site, which empower us to consider landscape in all dimensions (including time) and at all scales. A big thanks to the Constable family for hosting us, and for the delicious lunch afterwards 🍰 Landscape Institute Wales Landscape Institute Simon Richards Steve Mann Mike Haire Kay Haire Richard Staden #chooselandscape #wales
