About us

Hertility is a women’s health company built by women, for women. We’re shaping the future of reproductive healthcare by pioneering unique diagnostic testing that provides data-driven and advanced insights into reproductive health, fertility decline and the onset of menopause. We provide expert advice, education and access to care - all from the comfort of your home. Our research trials are a step towards fixing the currently flawed system. 31% of women will suffer from a reproductive health issue at some point and through our research, we aim to reduce the time to diagnosis through advanced at-home testing and specialist gynaecological care. We tailor pathways to the individual's reproductive goals, whether it be to explore their ovarian health and fertility options or overall hormonal health, such as confirming a PCOS diagnosis. Currently, we can diagnose 9 of the most common gynae pathologies which may lead to reduced fertility and signpost gynae cancers. Ultimately, our aim is to change attitudes around reproductive health, both for individuals and in the workplace, and to encourage women to be proactive by tracking their reproductive health. We’re calling this the Reproductive Revolution!

Healthcare wasn't designed for women, so we made it our mission to change that. When the health system inherently dismisses women and puts them on waitlists, we knew we had to create a solution. Through our diagnostic testing, online consultations and end-to-end care, we aim to put an end to some of the tragedies that result from the healthcare crisis. Women deserve answers, even when there are no symptoms. Join the Mother of all Movements and share to help us reach more women.

You’ve probably seen in the news that Fertility rates in England and Wales have hit an ALL TIME low 🤯 Media outlets like Skynewsuk.com, BBC News, The Telegraph and more are all reporting on the fact that the number of people choosing to have children has dropped to its lowest point since recording began in 1938. But this is not reflective of changing trends and ‘choosing to have kids later’, it’s a sign of the pressures and barriers women are facing today, some of these include: 💰 Financial pressures of the cost of living, housing and unaffordable childcare 🎓 Major life events like education and career progression are happening later 🩺 Lack of access and support to understand fertility and family planning options This is a wake up call for policymakers to alleviate the pressures of today’s society. To healthcare providers to better support women by making reproductive and fertility care accessible to all. And to employers to better support women to help them navigate their careers and motherhood. Together, let’s work to make sure that anyone who wants a child has that choice. Find out how you can implement Hertility’s services into your workplace to provide the necessary support to women and AFAB individuals, who are not only thinking of, or hoping to conceive, but those who want clarity into their Reproductive Health, from Hormones through to menopause 👇 https://lnkd.in/e47payFT

How do you launch a White… Red Paper? Here’s how 🚀 As the first of its kind, our groundbreaking report was created to give HR leaders a clear view of the current state of the workplace, packed full of tangible, actionable strategies to implement straight away to support women in the workplace. Not because it’s ‘the right thing to do’ but because it’s imperative to successful business performance. Download your copy here ➡️ https://lnkd.in/eUdnSyaK Here’s how we did it: 🩸Team up with brands with the same mission and values. We partnered with female-powered, eco-friendly period care brand Riley founded by Lauren Duggan, Aine Kilkenny and Fiona Parfrey, to co-author the report and it was the best decision we made. Having their insight, knowledge and energy was invaluable. 🩸Bring your trailblazing clients on board as ambassadors. For our launch event in London, Laura B from Edelman and Anne McComish from AIB joined the inspiring panel discussions at our London and Irish launch events to share their learnings and give fellow HR leaders insight into the impact it’s had for them. 🩸Invite companies who can help spread the word. Shout out to the incredible people who attended the two different launch events, contributed to the discussion, armed themselves with the knowledge and are helping us get the word out there! #ReproductiveRevolution #RedPaper #WorkplaceEquality #TheMotherOfAllMovements #RedPaperReport ASOS.com BBC Burson CHANEL Fulham Football Club KPMG LGT Private Banking Stevens & Bolton LLP The Telegraph Thalia Waste Management Uncommon Creative Studio CBRE Ireland Irish Life Health Salesforce PM Group Iconic Offices Ireland South Women & Infants Directorate BWG Cushman & Wakefield Menopause Hub Eversheds Sutherland Gigi Supplements Aramark

We were featured in Vogue 🤩 Is menopause now fashionable?  Menopause Awareness Day today got us thinking. We were thrilled that Hertility was featured in a recent coverage in Vogue about supporting women throughout perimenopause. It wasn’t long ago that menopause wasn’t even spoken about in public so look how far we’ve come for it to be written about in black and white in one of the most prestigious fashion magazines. It does seem like the conversation is really integrated into today’s culture and we are so proud of the part we’re playing in it. But will menopause fall out of fashion? Will empowering women to navigate perimenopause no longer be trendy? And will supporting women at work be a long distant fad whilst employers move onto the next fashionable benefit? We hope not and are doing everything we can to make sure this doesn’t happen. Thank you to Devinder Bains for including us in the article and together, let’s continue to keep the conversation around menopause going whilst we at Hertility give women the care they deserve from menstruation all the way through menopause. Who run the world?! 🌍 We're proud to announce that our unstoppable CEO and Founder Dr Helen O'Neill has been promoted to Associate Professor in Reproductive and Molecular Genetics at UCL. A week later? She gave birth to her son. All whilst building Hertility. Dr Helen really is the Mother behind the Hertility Movement and is testament to the fact that women should never (ever) be underestimated. There is nothing that will stop her mission to help women better understand their hormones and fertility! #TheMotherOFAllMovements #ReproductiveRevolution

I am incredibly proud to share that I’ve been promoted from Lecturer to Associate Professor in Reproductive and Molecular Genetics at UCL.  This milestone really does represent more than just a title to me- it represents endless late nights and weekends with almost an obsession to know more, to better my knowledge, and to share that knowledge. It represents the joy I get from lecturing and the excitement I get from research. It also represents the sacrifice that all of that encompasses.  Balancing my academic journey with building Hertility and making two babies has been no small feat, but my passion for creating a world where women have access to the healthcare they deserve has been my driving force.  It’s been my mission to bring the breakthroughs we achieve in the lab into the hands of women, empowering them to take control of their reproductive health. A week after this promotion, I welcomed my son into the world. The pride I felt in my academic promotion was beautifully eclipsed by the joy of becoming a mother of two. I’m grateful for the support of my incredible team, family, students and community. Here’s to continuing the work that shapes the future of women’s health, while also embracing the most important title I’ll ever hold: Mother.

We all have reproductive health stories. Our colleagues and those we manage have their own stories. Never underestimate what someone else is going through. That's why we're here to help. Meet Nic 👋 This is her story with Hertility. Nic had always suffered with heavy periods but doctors had always just advised her to go on contraception to deal with them. It wasn’t until age 45 that she was officially diagnosed with adenomyosis. Fatigue and brain fog were also making Nic suspect perimenopause with doctors suggesting HRT. But through Hertility, she actually discovered an iron and b12 deficiency to be the cause of symptoms and spoke to a Fertility Advisor about what to do next. #perimenopause #hertilityhealth #hertilitystories

This is a pun that Dr Helen O'Neill and I joked about years ago when we were thinking about who our DREAM ambassador would be. 🙆♀️ Suffice to say it shouldn't require *magic* to know that investing in women's health is investing in global health. ➰ Hertility is revolutionising reproductive healthcare from testing to diagnosis, to treatment from menstruation through menopause. We are an end-to-end clinical service propelled through our proprietary patent-pending diagnostic algorithm built using the largest dataset of female gynaecological pathologies. We will revolutionise the entire reproductive and hormonal landscape and we're not stopping until the whole world benefits from it. #ReproductiveRevolution #ScienceMeetLife #MotherofAllMovements #TheFempireStrikesBack
