As Hey Maestro sets out to revolutionise the future of learning an instrument, we're grappling with this question: If we could double the productivity of music practice ("getting better, quicker"), what would happen to the time saved? Would learners: A. Reach a higher standard, by spending the same amount of time practising as at present, but progressing faster; B. Reach the same standard, but spend less time practising and more time on non-music activities; C. Spend less time practising technical skills, but spend more time having fun musically, being creative and/or playing with others? It's this last option that excites Hey Maestro most. We believe that using A.I. to help people learn musical instruments has enormous potential to revolutionise the whole music education landscape. If that results in more time being spent on enjoying the emotional and expressive side of making music, then that's a huge leap forward for music education. #musiceducation #musiceducationmatters #edtechrevolution #artificialintelligence #10000hours
