  • It's been a joy to have led the Aniballers brand and app world building from kick-off ⚽ 🦁 Thank you Matt Wilson for everything along the way! We can't wait to see the results and, most importantly, help more children to learn football skills!🏅

Founder of Aniballers - Teaching the worlds children to play football via story telling and technology ⚽️🦁🐼🐯🦊📲🚀

We wanted to test an important hypothesis: Would parents find coaching videos useful for teaching their early years kids? 🤔 Can a 2-year-old learn football skills from his big sister? With the help of Matt Purkiss-Webb and his incredible team at Honey - Creative Brand Agency, we brought our vision to life. They loved the ethos of what we were trying to do and jumped in to help. We also needed to make the video lessons. My first call every time is to Junior R..  Jr is someone I met at talkSPORT years ago.  We worked together Ball Street Network .  He is a trusted friend, an amazingly talented director, and godfather to V.  He wanted to hep too and so got up extra early to drive across London to film me and the kids as we turned our play into video lessons. In this video, you'll see V putting her 2-year-old brother through his paces as we develop the idea of transforming our games into lessons that parents anywhere can use. Together, we created the first Aniballers app experience! 🎉 —-------------- 🎥⚽🦁 "Day 7 of Building a Kids Football Brand with My Dad!" • Love seeing our Napolina rebrand, for Princes Limited, out in the world. Last night, Jamie Oliver's Fast and Simple was the latest TV exposure featuring both the tomato and lentil range. Pukka packaging!

We're thrilled to share our redesign of the UK’s No. 1 Italian cooking brand: Napolina! 🍅 Our creative challenge was to re-establish the brand as a beacon of quality through celebrating its authentic Neapolitan roots, whilst preserving the position as category leader 🇮🇹🤌 A massive thank you to the brilliantly collaborative and supportive Napolina brand team at Princes Limited, who trusted our vision from day one: James Crorie, Jeremy Gibson, Ellis Duncan & Helen Carswell, thank you!   Read our full case study 👉 https://lnkd.in/eCWxcDa3 #packagingdesign #notsohumbleingredients #redesign #italia #design #food #neapolitan #fmcg

✏ Earlier this month, we visited D&AD New Blood & New Designers to see the work of the next generation of industry talent. We met some lovely graduates and were impressed by the quality of work across the board. It’s always great to hear them speak with such passion, particularly with the projects that they’ve tailored to their own personal interests and agendas. The sheer variety of styles was incredible, from those that were craft-based and illustrative 🎨 to those that were edgy and urban 📸 and those that were polished and corporate ✨ All worked across a veritable jamboree of applications too – from children’s books to political posters, and hand-bound books to working digital apps. 📣 Big shout out to all those involved, with particular thanks to Daniela Hernández, Beth Trim, Conrad Wells and Lexiss Anne Bedeser for their time and enthusiasm.

  • Last month, we spent a day at IFE - International Food & Drink Event: networking, trend-spotting and a lot of sampling (well, someone's got to do it 👀 ). Sharing some of our favourite stands from the day: ☕ 🥛 Oatly & Grind | Certified B Corp collab: a match made in bistro heaven. Serving up GRIND coffee with Oatly's milk alternative products created a really buzzy atmosphere. The brand-first experience was well considered from start to end; even the coffee cups were branded! 💧 Juno Bamboo Water: innovative water brands dominated this year's show including up-and-coming brand Juno who produce bamboo water to help consumers benefit from the ingredient's naturally-occurring health properties. Their brand ethos was certainly not watered down (pun intended); lovely to meet you Team Juno! 🍅 Rubies In The Rubble: great tasting, great branding and a great cause? What's not to love! Rubies in the Rubble was a stand-out B Corp brand, tackling food waste with their delicious condiments. 🚽 Who Gives A Crap: the bold and playful energy at this stand was hard to ignore. Their display spoke for itself (built entirely from their wrapped loo rolls, of course). It was a brilliant example of the power of creative disruption. A big clap (not crap) for the whole team. 📩 If you're interested in learning more about our IFE 2024 experience, please get in touch with Jade Potter (jade@honey.co.uk), who can share our full report with all the key trends, stand-out brands and learnings we took from the day.

✨ We’re really proud to share our brand partnership with the family-run Irish business The Plant-it Food Co., to transform their brand and packaging designs for a growing plant-curious consumer base. 🌱 Our creative mission was to convey the personal touch of a small business, whilst visually celebrating bold flavours that pack a punch and guilt-free natural ingredients. 👏 A huge thank you to the teams at The Plant-It Food Co. and Bord Bia - The Irish Food Board for their collaborative and supportive approach throughout. We're excited to see the new products ‘planted’ in stores! 👉 Learn more in our case study: 👉 https://lnkd.in/eRrhxDjz

  • 🌟 A proud moment for the Honey team this week! 🌟 Ruby, one of our junior designers, gave a talk at her former university (University of Lincoln) about life in the design industry after graduation. She’s already had some lovely feedback from the students about how her talk has helped inspire them & encourage confidence 🙌 Well done Ruby 🎉

Junior Designer at Honey | MISTD | Creative Conscience Winner 2023

Yesterday I had the wonderful opportunity to go back to the University of Lincoln and talk about my experience into the design industry to the current 3rd year Graphic Design students. I’ve always found public speaking, talking about my work and having general self-confidence a challenge so yesterday was such a milestone moment for me. (The last picture was me this time last year before my first portfolio review, I was so nervous!) Last year when we had talks from industry I remember thinking “I wish I could just be confident like them” and I never imagined, only a year later, I would be doing the same. “Get comfortable with being uncomfortable” has been a phrase that has really helped me push myself out of my comfort zone this year. Moving from Leeds to London. Attending pitches. Speaking with Clients. I’m so grateful to be at an agency like Honey - Creative Brand Agency who support my personal growth just as much as my creative development. Thanks again to Jo Mansfield & Rhona Breeze-Lawlor for inviting me back. It was so lovely to meet the students, I had the best day!

  • We're delighted to see our app for u-blox is out in the world... or Embedded World to be precise! Designed for a massive Giant iTab touchscreen, visitors play a game to find out which GNSS product is right for their business.  Designing and building this with u-blox was super fun; more details to follow!
