As custodians of this wonderful house, gardens and woodlands, we are thrilled to unveil the start of our new orchard. Twenty young saplings have now found their forever home at Horwood House Hotel. The original orchard had disappeared over time and we are committed to investing into the gardens, bringing them back to their former glory and attracting more biodiversity into our surroundings. #historicgardens #biodiversity

Great to spend time at Horwood House Hotel, one of our longstanding Gold members at Destination Milton Keynes. Look at that stunning crockery! I need some for home! Tracy Montgomery and her team are doing incredible things in the community and they really are one of the best (and worst) kept secrets in Milton Keynes. It was especially great to see their #CrisisLounge co-working space which supports Crisis charity, raising thousands of pounds a year for them across their estate. I’ll be back here as soon as I get a chance and I think Carys Underwood will be doing the same! 🩷

Huge thanks to the AMKH Chair Jon Kett-Reynolds for bringing this group together. And to Mandy Browning from South Midlands Careers Hub who has been busy nominating local schools to take part - and advocated so clearly today on the local careers education priorities and the need for industry partnership.
