What a summer we've had! Our venues are at their busiest over the summer months but this year we've also enjoyed onboarding so many new (equally busy) venues. Each of them keen to find a way through the endless admin 😖 Off the back of that we've fast tracked some excellent 'un-busying' features and integrations to streamline essential processes for the busy venue; managing email enquiries, generating invoices and processing payments - leaving them more time to focus on the customer. 🎉 Our new venue payment scheduling 🎉 This major update makes payment management a breeze. Our new section lets venues schedule payments, track cashflow, and manage incoming payments from couples with ease. You can create templates for various event types, like weddings or private events, and sync them with the event budget. If the budget changes, simply re-sync. Plus, there’s always a manual override for flexibility. Stay tuned for upcoming additions to this features like full cashflow reporting, accounting integrations, and Open Banking payment options for quick and secure transactions. We love this new video, all about our new Host event Add On's section! Upselling event Add-ons is a fantastic and important revenue opportunity for venues; special reception rooms, decoration packages, late licenses and more. Our team at Hostology has just completed the Carbon Literacy Training with Sustainable Wedding Alliance | B Corp™ by Michelle Miles 💚 We spent two days with other industry professionals learning about the climate crisis and climate justice. As the publisher (my other life) of Pocket Issue, Digital Consultancy & Publishing, short guides to Global Warming and The Energy Crisis (and other global issues), I thought there was not much more I could learn.
