Did you see us on the evening news? 👀 Yesterday, some of our Womens and Vets players joined up with players from Brighton University and Sussex University at ‘Brighton Breach’ to celebrate the Women’s Rugby World Cup coming to Brighton next year. Players joined Red Roses Jess Breach and Rachael Burford in interviews with media crews from across the South to talk about the tournament, and to have a lighthearted run-around on the pebbles. It was a fantastic way to celebrate the start of the anticipated run-up to next year’s tournament and we can’t wait! Congratulations to our very own 🌹Manjinder Nagra - Lawyer 🌹who was presented with two awards recently at the Inaugural British Asian Rugby Association Awards Ceremony held at the iconic Speakers House, Palace of Westminster, London. Invited to speak along side notable speakers, including the Speaker of the House, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, Phil Davies (World Rugby Director and Former Welsh International) and leaders from the RFU and RFL, Manjinder used her platform to represent Brtish Asian Women In Rugby. This inaugural landmark event celebrates success in the Asian rugby community. It highlights the importance of representation and inclusion and how addressing this requires a commitment to leadership that is grounded in integrity, knowledge and accountability. As well as being on the Sussex RFU Discipline Panel for a number of years, Manjinder has now also been appointed the RFU Discipline Panel.
