Our Annual Global Impact Report is now live! 🌟 We surveyed over 24,000 teachers, students and parents to find out the impact of High Performance Learning. The results are in and include: 🌟 91% of students enjoy attending school 🌟 98% of students are engaged and confident in their learning 🌟 79% of students have few worries about their academic performance 🌟 86% of staff in HPL school schools think their career in education is fulfilling and enjoy going to work 🌟 There is a 25% increase in staff retention after adoption of HPL 🌟 Parents talk about how they have seen a difference in their child and talk about how they have grown in confidence and are more willing to push themselves to complete tasks where they would have previously given up. We are very excited to announce that next week, our Director of Professional Learning Amy Lilley-Stewart., will be heading to the UAE! Over the 9th - 11th October, Amy will be visiting some of our FGC schools in Dubai and Abu Dhabi whilst delivering sessions and workshops. On Wednesday, she will be delivering the Teacher Certification Workshop for candidates at GEMS Cambridge International School - Abu Dhabi and on Thursday, hosting the HPL Leads Global Forum at Cambridge International School Dubai. An alarming report into students engagement with learning by Pearson in June 2024 shows that 1.5 million children 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘨𝘨𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨. Combined with Bett Global's Student Behaviour Report, released last week, the statistics show that two-fifths of teachers (39%) say students are so easily distracted that they need to change a classroom activity every 10 minutes or less to maintain their attention. This is 𝐧𝐨𝐭 the case in High Performance Learning schools. We believe in creating environments where students not only excel academically but also develop the confidence and skills needed for lifelong success, all whilst enjoying and wanting to attend school. Our latest Global Impact Report highlights how we are making this a reality. We know that 91% of students in HPL enjoy attending school, and 85% value their learning experiences. And 98% of staff in HPL schools say their students are engaged and confident in their learning. For this coming academic year, we are delighted to be launching our first FGC HPL Student Competition ‘Innovators for Tomorrow’ where students will demonstrate they can respond to a real-world problem through teamwork and collaboration.   Students aged 4 - 16 will: ✅ Design and prepare a pitch for the next AI Educational Tool that can support students and or teachers. ✅ Students should demonstrate the ability to create new ideas through building on existing ideas.
