With close to four million women aged 45 to 55 employed in the UK, menopause is an often difficult fact of life prevalent in many workplaces. With almost two thirds of our 2,300 UK employees identifying as women, and an average age across the business of 40-55, we take menopause and its effects seriously. On this #WorldMenopauseDay, we thank our colleagues Mish and Maria for sharing their menopause experiences, both good and bad, to raise awareness of the reality of what it’s like for someone going through this. From ‘toughing out’ their symptoms in the early years, to finding hormonal and other help, they’re a wealth of personal knowledge and experience. As Mish talks of being ‘in danger of becoming seriously mentally unwell’, to Maria’s ‘what have I done’ experience at a car garage, share in their truly life-changing stories here https://ow.ly/5BHg50TNUBj International Menopause Society (IMS) Menopause Info #Menopause #HRT #MHT #WeAreIngeus #EnablingBetterLives

👋 Daniel, one of our Employment Advisors in NHS Talking Therapies, says that living with ADHD is like having all your ingredients ready to make a meal but finding you haven’t got a switch to turn the cooker on. It’s all there, it just needs tackling in a slightly different way… 🤔 He defies the common conception of people with ADHD being inattentive or unable to sit down. Instead, he calmly and professionally guides participants undertaking NHS Talking Therapies in Derbyshire. Behind the scenes, he says life can be a little more ‘spikey’, but in a good way. From powering through his paperwork and taking up archery, to compiling dozens of support services for his participants, and travelling the world to meet friends and play tabletop games, he’s a sociable and hard-working force to be reckoned with. Find out how working at Ingeus is helping him find the recipe (and the on switch!) for success. We love Daniel’s approach to his support for participants and the commitment he delivers every day. Here’s to you, Daniel! 🤩 https://ow.ly/6FXI50TFV0J #ADHDAwarenessMonth #Accessibility #ADHD #WeAreIngeus #EnablingBetterLives
