About us
Launched on 28 November 2012, the Institute of Health Visiting (iHV) is a UK Centre of Excellence supporting the development of universally high-quality health visiting practice to benefit all children, families and communities. New evidence-based resources and frameworks developed by the iHV help health visitors to respond effectively to the health needs of all children, families and communities; enabling them to achieve their optimum level of health, thereby reducing health inequalities. Fellows of the Institute of Health Visiting (FiHV) are health visitors with exceptional leadership qualities and promote excellence in health visiting practice. FiHV are invited to join the iHV Fellows group (a closed group) on Linked In.
