Throughout March, the UK Government has been gathering feedback on a proposed revenue certainty mechanism (RCM) for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The UK has the opportunity to lead in SAF production, cutting emissions, while driving investment, jobs, and energy security and with the right support, could add £1.8 billion annually to the UK economy and create more than 10,000 jobs. But if we get this wrong, extra costs could hold us back. IAG has responded to the consultation, which closed yesterday.
