Our Technical Director, Dan Bradley, recently presented on health and safety in manufacturing, through the lens of digital technologies. Many thanks to The Smart Manufacturing Community for hosting the session! The key message: Start by identifying the problem, not the technology. Once you’ve defined the challenge, evaluate whether technology is the right solution and if so, choose the best tool for the job. Dan's presentation explored: ⚠️ Physical Safety – Addressing lone working and worker distress. 💦 Water Safety – Including legionella management and regulatory compliance. 👉 Indoor Environmental Monitoring – Focusing on chemical safety and air quality. 🏭 Machine Monitoring – Using vibration, heat, and energy diagnostics to ensure machines are operating effectively. We also have a demonstrator at the #CampusTechnologyHub in #Daresbury, where SME leaders can explore this technology. Empowering Future Innovators 🚀 We recently hosted a work placement for our local high school and sixth form. Year 9 and Year 12 students collaborated with us on a project focused on air quality in education. They interviewed local companies, worked with our team, and presented their ideas for improving air quality in schools. Our Founder, Deyrick Allen, encouraged the students to present their findings back to their schools and sixth form, showcasing their compelling business case for saving energy and enhancing classroom performance 👏 We’re committed to partnering with local schools to advance technology and support the workforce of tomorrow.
