We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Clerk Role within our our ever growing and friendly team at Jordan Electrics, based in Carfin. We are looking for someone who has interest and knowledge in computer and software skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). This is a full time position based in the Head Office in Carfin. Duties and Responsibilities Managing the filing system: Keeping the filing system organised and systematic so that everyone can find the right document easily and quickly when required. Answering phones: Besides simply answering calls, this duty also involves fielding questions, taking messages and transferring calls. Taking minutes: This involves attending meetings and making a note of those present and any absences. You will make a summary of items discussed and later distribute a typed copy to relevant parties. Typing: You may be required to assist colleagues and managers by typing documents. This can involve copy typing, dictaphone typing, making amendments to a document, formatting or proofreading. Data entry: This might include updating client databases or logging orders or invoices. Management: You may be required to assist in other departments as and when required and at short notice therefore you will be required to manage your time and tasks efficiently. Skills Required Excellent communication skills: You should have strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, clients, and visitors. Organizational skills: This role requires exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines. Proficiency in computer applications: Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) & File Stream, are essential for this role. Knowledge of office equipment and basic troubleshooting is also beneficial. Time management: You should be able to prioritize tasks and manage your time efficiently. Meet our 1st year apprentices 🛠️ 💡 Jordan electrics Limited have 16 apprentices heading to college this month across the central belt! We have 9 apprentices attending Motherwell college, 2 attending Edinburgh, 2 attending Fife, 1 attending Clydebank, 1 attending Ayr and 1 attending West Lothian. We also have our first female apprentice (not pictured) in 2 years starting college this month in Edinburgh. We are delighted to be able to support and encourage more women into the electrical industry. We are grateful to be able to develop our young workforce on such a large scale and support them in becoming successful in the electrical industry as part of our team at Jordan Electrics ⚡️ Good luck team!

Jordan Electrics Limited supports junior golf⛳️ With transport provided by our mini bus, the junior team recently played in a Scottish golf, GolfNines competition at Dalmilling Golf Club in Ayr. Followed by a trip to the recent open Golf Championship Practice Day held in Troon and gained some practice from celebrity players. Well done team!
