The Neurodevelopmental Crisis is Worse Than We Thought. Over the last year, we've been told too many times to count that the problem we were solving was too small or that they just couldn't understand the issue at all. Today the Child Commissioner for the NHS' shocking report revealed: Nearly 3% of all UK children left without any support. That's 400,000 children. 1 in 4 are waiting over 4 YEARS for ADHD diagnosis 1 in 6 are waiting over 4 YEARS for autism diagnosis That's hundreds of thousands of children losing critical developmental years. But here's where hope comes in 🌟 The report calls for earlier intervention and identification. This is our bread and butter. Kanjo is the world’s first pre-diagnostic model for ADHD and autism, enabling clinicians to diagnose faster, triage faster and keep track of their patients before, during and after a diagnosis. We also support parents through personalised content whilst they wait, helping them find help at all times. This problem isn’t just the UK. In the Middle East, we are looking at a projected prevalence of 17% for ADHD and Autism, which services now being built to match the rising demand. Our goal in the region is to stop the Gulf ever experiencing the burden the UK currently faces. Interested in being part of the solution? Let's connect. Together, we can fix this before it's too late. Want to read more about the report, read below: https://lnkd.in/dPRAw8we

🔮 The #GenZ bosses redefining the workplace with crystals and gratitude journals “I’m really into healing crystals at the moment,” is not what you might expect to hear from your boss. Sophia Parvizi-Wayne, a 26-year-old #entrepreneur from London, is not the average #business leader – though she soon will be. Generation Z, who are aged between 12 to 27 years old, will represent a quarter of the #workforce by 2025. One might assume that they can be easily identified – the babyfaced employee bringing their boss a cup of tea or making their first tentative calls to clients. But they are an aspirational bunch. The number of Gen Z company #directors listed on Companies House shot up by 42pc in the year to January, according to research by accountancy #firm Hazlewoods. There are now almost a quarter of a million Gen Z #bosses. These young people have a reputation for being hard to work with, but now, as #leaders, they are upending the #corporate world. Organisations are scrambling to understand what these trends mean for the future of business. Two fifths of this cohort are attracted to being their own boss, according to a survey by Virgin StartUp. Sophia Parvizi-Wayne spoke to Kanjo's friend James Farnfield on his brilliant podcast about everything mental health and company building! Take a listen here 🎙
This founder is the reason mental health got put on the map for the UK school curriculum. 🇬🇧 📍 Sophia Parvizi-Wayne aged 15 got diagnosed with Anorexia, and through her own battles she wanted to fight for wider awareness and education of mental health illnesses. And she did.... By aged 18 she had been on the front of a number of media publications, advised the British government and all whilst suceeding to become number 2 in Europe for her distance in athletics. Soooo... this was at 18 years of age... 10 years later, Sophia has founded multiple startups and found her place in business. Combining her personal experience, intelligence and determination her business Kanjo Health equips clinicians with the data they need to STOP miss and late diagnoses. On the latest episode of The Everyday Founder we dive deep into Sophia's story and how she is combining technology and AI with the knowledge and skills of doctors to make them even better at their jobs. On top of this, look and listen out for: 🇦🇪 How Sophia is targeting the Middle East as a key area for expansion 🏃♀️ How running is the balance she uses to stay focused 🍫 Sophia's compulsive behaviour for the good and the bad Check out the latest episode on every platform you could think of and let me know what you think in the comments 👇🏼

Our CEO Sophia Parvizi-Wayne was asked on stage recently about companies moving into the MENA region and how Kanjo Health has managed to do so. She had a few answers, the first about what exactly localisation reaaaaaaly means in practise.
