In September, the Experience Content team at KINESSO UK&I completed a sponsored hike around Ilkley Moor to raise money for Cancer Research UK (CRUK). It was a fantastic day out and we were lucky to walk in beautiful weather. Here’s what our team achieved: 🧭 13 miles of hiking ⛰️ 401m max. elevation 🥾 500m of climbing 💸 +£2,000 raised for Cancer Research UK ☀️20 ºC top temp 🍻 2 pubs along the way A massive thank you to everyone who supported us, from our 25 team members who took part, to our 110 generous family, friends and colleagues who sponsored us. This is a cause close to our hearts. People on the team have either known or lost loved ones to cancer - with some walking in memory of relatives and friends. Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide, and according to Cancer Research UK, deaths are predicted to increase by 50% by 2040.
