After attending an insightful PDA - Parenteral Drug Association, our Head of Research & Strategy Lucy Baldwin, and Principal Design Consultant Phillip Jackson, continued their travels and spent a number of days working with our USA design and development team in Morristown. Lucy reflects on the value of their time with our USA colleagues: "While in the states for a conference we took the opportunity to visit our fantastic design & development colleagues in Morristown, New Jersey. Our end to end capability and facilities in both the UK & US sites means we can field projects more efficiently, and with deep knowledge of local markets. As well as progressing a number of exciting projects together, we of course also took the time to enjoy fall in full swing, and sample some culinary delights." We're excited to announce that Mike Susi has joined the SteriPack Group as Global Head of Design & Product Development (D&PD). Based in the US, and working closely with our VP Design & Product Development Kerry Briggs, Mike will lead our operations and sales teams at our locations in Frederick (CO), Morristown (NJ) and Bristol (UK). After spending a week in Morristown with our US colleagues, we're excited to have Mike in Bristol this week as he gets to know our UK team! Mike brings with him an exceptional background, having held senior leadership roles in product development and engineering at firms like Veranex, Jabil / Nypro, Insight, and Radius Innovation & Development. With over 25 years of experience in the medical device industry, he has successfully led teams in developing and launching innovative products that have made a significant impact in the market. His expertise in technological innovation, engineering leadership, and linking design consultancies with device manufacturing businesses will be invaluable as we continue to grow our D&PD business.
