Cosmopolitan compile ‘29 of the best alcohol-free drinks you need in your life’, including The REAL Drinks Co. Peony Blush, giving it their ‘sparkling rosé all day’ seal of approval. 🥂 "If you are (or were) a 'sparkling rosé all day' type, then why not try something different in the form of REAL's Peony Blush sparkling tea? It's the perfect picnic accompaniment infused with cheerful notes (strawberry, yoghurt and summer fruits) and goes down a treat." https://lnkd.in/ddBi9_C

I’ve been a little quiet over the last 2-3 years, having a family will do that to you! Most people met me on my ten year crusade with Thyrso Camargo Neto to build Yaguara Cachaça within the drinks world. In that time I met and got to work with so many fabulous people from Italy to Asia, USA and of course my favourite Brazil. It was a blast and I was shown so much love for that brand… I’m very proud of what we achieved with Carmosina as a company, Yaguara reaching No.1 trending and selling cachaça in Drinks International for 2021. Together with the main team back in São Paulo getting Vitoria Regia to no.1 selling national premium gin were both particular highlights. As that chapter closed with our merger a new door opened with an idea we had when seeing an empty tumbler and a tube of Berocca perched on the table. Could we build a non alcoholic spirit for drinkers and non drinkers alike? I.e. drinks thats tasted like the real thing and harnessed the positive effects of alcohol without the negatives? Simple, but too good to be true right? 3 years later and after hundreds of trials and dead ends we are proud to announce the launch of Smiling Wolf Functional Non Alcoholic Spirits in the UK. Made with the real spirits and combined with a blend of nootropics and active ingredients that will indeed give you the full drinks experience. The buzz without the booze? Yeah sure lets call it that, one thing is that it genuinely works! It has been an amazing R&D journey, partnering up with Steve Wilson our liquid guru who created Bailey’s, Tanqueray 10 and Purdey’s to name just a few. He has introduced us to some of the best talents in the liquid innovation space and my eyes have truly been opened to the wider world of drinks. This knowledge is then complemented by our other partner Alberto Gavazzi, who after a stand out career at Diageo decided he wanted to get his hands dirty and build a new brand fit for the 21st Century. He continues to embolden our horizons. I truly believe Smiling Wolf can be part of the drinking landscape of tomorrow and help harness the undeniable truth that we all (me included) want a more balanced lifestyle. Don’t get me wrong I still love spirits and bars, but now I have a new tool in my arsenal for when I want to moderate and still be out and about. I hope you get a chance to try it soon! Best, Ham https://lnkd.in/ehMpzjCy

“I was unexpectedly blown away by this sparkling drink”. Metro.co.uk reports on why ‘Octsober doesn’t have to boring’ with their favourite non-alc alternatives including The REAL Drinks Co.! "With notes of hibiscus, ginger, red flowers and tea, this is a delicate and satisfying alternative to rosé. Fermented non-alcoholic tea delivers complexity and texture without the need to add sugar. Especially when it’s rare and expensive tea from specific regions of Fujian province in China, like this one. The leaves are wok-roasted to stop oxidation and retain their flavour, steeped and naturally fermented in Buckinghamshire, of all places." 🥂 https://lnkd.in/ejd9Je8E

This one's for all the French onion soup lovers out there... When introducing Wednesday's Domaine to the uninitiated, we always tell the story of the category, with our own experiences as consumers weaved in. We start by saying non-alcoholic wine has historically been terrible, that we struggled to find a good one, that we'd seen how beer had managed to reverse that narrative and that we believe we're one of a handful of new producers who have the power to do the same in wine. Layering on top of this the fact that those who like bigger, bolder red wines are the most underserved consumers in the non-alcoholic space, with a decent red wine often referred to as "The Holy Grail" of alcohol free products, and you have the recipe for a nerve-wracking few minutes when your product appears on live TV.... Not just any old live TV - the iconic This Morning, watched by millions of viewers around the UK on a daily basis. To watch Ben McFarland and Tom Sandham tell the story of our heavier red, Vignette, so eloquently and to hear them utter the words "these guys really crack it" made me quite emotional. If that made me emotional, hearing Cat Deeley say that it would work wonderfully with a French onion soup just made me hungry. Hungry in many ways, namely to keep getting out there, keep spreading the word and keeping chipping away at the now-outdated assumption that all non-alcoholic wines are terrible. "The future's already here, it's just not evenly distributed." All video credits to ITV & This Morning.
