The QCCC (Quality Control Council of Canada (QCCC)) is another of our amazing Authorised Examination Centres. We work closely with them to ensure our students around the world are able to take their exams in a controlled and secure setting. We have tried to name every SINGLE NDT industry. 🛩️Aerospace NDT is used extensively in the aerospace industry to inspect ✈️ components, such as wings, fuselage, engines, & landing gear. ⛽Oil & Gas In the oil & gas industry, NDT is used to inspect pipelines, 🛢️ storage tanks, pressure vessels, & drilling equipment. 🚆Transport NDT is used in the railway industry to inspect rails, wheels, & other critical components for defects such as cracks, corrosion, & wear. 🏗️Construction & Civil Engineering NDT is used in construction to assess the integrity of structures like 🌉 bridges, 🏢 buildings, & 🚇 tunnels. It is also used to inspect welds, 🏗️ concrete, & reinforcing steel. 🚢Shipbuilding & Marine Industry In the marine industry, NDT is used to inspect hulls, propellers, & other critical components of ships & offshore structures. ☢️Nuclear NDT is critical in the nuclear industry for inspecting reactors, containment structures, & other components. 🎢Attractions NDT is used to inspect 🎡 theme park attractions, 🎠 fairground rides & rollercoasters. 🚗Automotive In the automotive industry, NDT is used to inspect critical components such as engines, transmissions, & suspension systems. 🏭Manufacturing NDT is used in manufacturing to inspect raw materials, in-process components, & finished products. 🏥Medical NDT is used in the medical industry to inspect medical devices, implants, & other critical components. 🛡️Defense & Military The defense industry uses NDT to inspect military equipment, vehicles, & infrastructure, such as ✈️ aircraft, 🚢 ships, & weapons systems. ⚗️Petrochemical In the petrochemical industry, NDT is used to inspect storage tanks, pipelines, & processing equipment. 🍴Food & Beverage In the food & beverage industry, NDT is used to inspect packaging, containers, & processing equipment. 🖼️Art & Heritage NDT is used in the conservation of 🖼️ artworks, monuments, & historical buildings. It allows conservators to assess the condition of artifacts & structures without causing damage. ⛏️Mining NDT is used to inspect mining equipment, shafts, & structural components. 🧠 Males account for a significant majority of suicide deaths globally. In the UK, men represent approximately 76% of all suicide deaths, and according to recent statistics, the NDT industry is 90% male. ⚠️ This indicates a huge risk to our workforce. We need to change. 💬 Men, in particular, need to reflect on their own self-judgment and move on from old-fashioned societal norms. 💪 Overcome the fear of being seen as weak.
