We are delighted to share L&G has raised £510m as part of the second close of its Affordable Housing Fund, aimed at tackling the UK’s housing crisis. The current level of new affordable homes being developed falls short of the National Housing Federation’s recommendations of c.145,000 a year until 2031. To address this ongoing undersupply, our Fund will invest in well-designed, purpose-built affordable housing in areas of acute need across England, and aims to create positive social impact within local communities.
