Naturally Fast Food.

About us

What fuels Leon is the belief that food should taste good and do you good. And that everyone should be able to enjoy it. To do this, we’ve set about to change the face of fast food. Our food is naturally full of flavour, full of goodness, and from people we know and like. We often cook with seasonal ingredients, olive oil and fresh herbs and spices. Back when we had one restaurant, what really made us believe we were on the right track was the passion, support and input of people who eat with us; it wasn’t all plain sailing, but the overriding message was that you were glad we were around. We hope you continue to think this and thanks for all your support so far. If you have anything to ask, say or suggest, feel free. People have been very kind about Leon but we’ve got a long way to go and we think there is always room for improvement. Leon are growing faster than ever before. If you are looking to join a fresh, innovative fast food restaurant brand with real personality, then we want to hear from you. We are looking for people who have a passion for great food, delivery of the highest standards and that can deal with a fast pace of work. Please email your CV to joinus@leon.co

This month, we caught up with another absolute LEON Legend: Andrea Bulgarelli, our fantastic Senior L&D Manager. Describe yourself in 3 emojis. 😎☀️🪴 Could you describe your role at LEON? At LEON I’m responsible for all things training, and for the development of our work force. With my team, we design and deliver the content for our LMS platform, Attensi, as well as for our face-to-face workshops. We promote a culture of continuous learning and we work to improve teams’ engagement and retention. What’s your favourite thing about working at LEON / biggest achievement? It’s making an impact: I love to see talents who develop and grow within the company, sometimes starting from team members and going all the way up to general managers. Also, life at LEON is never boring. I alternate short term and long term projects, working in autonomy or alongside other departments. What’s your favourite book or movie? Cinema is one of my biggest passions, so it’s hard to pick a favourite movie. I’ll go with Kikujiro (Japan, 1999), the story of a kid in search for his mother, and his unqualified companion. It's so unusually sad, yet so ridiculously happy; it made me cry and laugh. I prefer non-fictional books, and one of my favourite is Guns, Germs and Steel by J. Diamond. The author challenges the reader by arguing that geography shaped how history unfolded across the world. Favourite LEON dish? 9 years in LEON means lots of great food and delicious dishes! My current favourite one is the Red Shakshuka pot. When you’re not working at LEON, where can we find you? Spending time with my family and friends, usually around a table with food and drinks. If you were going to cook a dish for everyone, what would it would be? Risotto with saffron or porcini mushrooms.

Dip dip HOORAY! We are thrilled to announce we’ve been awarded 2 stars for our LEON Grocery Velvety Hummus at the Great Taste Awards 2024 by the Guild of Fine Food. We’re constantly striving for perfection with all our recipes and our hummus is no exception. We’ve spent years tweaking and testing our recipe and techniques to get that smooth and velvety texture, using only the highest quality chickpeas, olive oil, and fresh Sicilian lemon juice, finished with whole chickpeas, an additional drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and a dusting of paprika. It’s true what they say; it takes a village.

This month, we chatted with our wonderful South Kensington GM Nana to find out a bit more about her and her role at LEON. 1. Describe yourself in 3 emojis. 🤣💃🔥 2. Could you describe your role at LEON? I am currently the General Manager of LEON South Kensington, and my job role is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, making sure that my team and my management team are following the LEON way, and simply keeping guests and my team happy. 3. What’s your favourite thing about working at LEON? I would say my favourite thing about working at LEON is the connection I’ve made with my guests. Some guests have left everlasting impact on me, which wouldn’t have happened if I wasn’t working at LEON. 4. What is your biggest achievement during your time working here? My biggest achievement would be becoming a General Manager. When I started at LEON as a team member, right after I graduated from University, I was only meant to be in LEON for six months, but in just a couple of years I have been able to become a General Manager and I would for sure say that is a great achievement. 5. What’s your favourite book or movie? My favourite book will have to be Honey & Spice by Bolu Babalola, and favourite movie is The Heat. 6. Favourite LEON dish? Hot Honey GFC 🔥 7. When you’re not working at LEON, where can we find you? When I’m not working at LEON you can usually find me on a bike trail or spending time with my family. 8. If you were going to cook a dish for everyone, what would it would be? If I could cook one dish it would be Jollof Rice which is a hot and spicy rice dish from Ghana.
