Better Coffee, Made by London.

About us

Grind is a coffee company that lives in London. After opening Shoreditch Grind in 2011, the brand expanded across London with cafés and a production coffee roastery. 2020 changed Grind beyond recognition, and today Grind coffee is available online - through our direct-to-consumer coffee business led by the UK’s first compostable coffee pods for Nespresso machines - as well as around the world as the global coffee partner for Soho House.

  • Feel like a FREE IRISH COFFEE this weekend? We've teamed up with Diageo's Baileys for a St. Patrick's Day special, giving 100 people a FREE Baileys Irish Coffee in our Liverpool Street café from Saturday to Monday. Just say the magic words "Kiss me, I'm Irish" to your server. They won't actually give you a kiss, but they will know that your Baileys Irish Coffee is on the house. Not one of the lucky 100? You can also order this festive serve off our menu at our London Bridge, Greenwich, Shoreditch, Covent Garden, and of course, Liverpool Street Grind locations all weekend long.

It's nearly B-Corp Month! This year, we’re trying something new. And exciting. And pink (of course). As much as we love that London’s blue plaques celebrate the pioneers of the past, we’d quite like to celebrate the sustainable pioneers of the present (and future). After all, if we’d stayed in the past, we wouldn’t have made the UK’s first certified home-compostable coffee pod. Instead, we thought about the future and decided to do things differently: sustainable sourcing, compostable packaging, and rescuing tonnes of plastic from the ocean. This B-Corp month, we're delivering Pink Plaques for the Planet. And we need your help. We want you to nominate a business that's: ➡️Proving sustainability isn't just a marketing strategy ➡️Treating the planet like their most important stakeholder ➡️Making planet-friendly look completely effortless Maybe it's your go-to lunch spot championing seasonal produce. Maybe it's a friend at work that’s got a side-hustle turning old t-shirts into gigantic scrunchies. (And no, your other half’s reusable cup collection doesn't count.) Shout out your favourite planet-loving business in the comments. Nominations close Friday. No extensions. No excuses. And absolutely zero greenwashing allowed.

  • GRIND MATCHA IS FINALLY HERE 🎉 We've been mastering matcha in our cafés and coffee shops for years. Our new range is designed for making that same delicious matcha at home, or skipping that and getting your fave café order in a ready-to-drink can. Our ceremonial-grade matcha is smooth, bright, and full-bodied, and somehow tastes even better when you're wearing our matcha baseball cap. Get yours at https://lnkd.in/en_wbsD7

Some photo moments from our FIRST EVER PLAY GROUNDS NIGHT !! On Thursday, we hosted a sellout event at our café in Greenwich with a live performance by the unbelievably talented Ella Eyre. The vibes were great, the food was great, the cocktails were dangerously great… all in all, it was an amazing night we won’t be forgetting anytime soon. Just you wait for the live performance videos.
