We are thrilled that young people from LGBT Youth Scotland have been invited to play key roles in Saturday's Scottish Parliament 25th anniversary event! Skye (17) from Glasgow will escort the Crown of Scotland as it arrives at the Parliament, whilst Hades (14), Jack (16) and Amy (22) will form a Guard of Honour for the arrival of the Crown of Scotland and the departure of Their Majesties, The King and Queen. A message for trans and non-binary young people from Jenni Minto, Minister for Public Health and Women's Health, at yesterday's Meeting of the Scottish Parliament.

What a treat we had yesterday! Great British Bake Off star James "The Big Gay Baker" Dewar popped by the Glasgow office to drop off some of his amazing baked goods for the LGBT Youth Scotland staff. James kindly chose us to get a little love after a generous customer of his placed a large order and asked him to donate it to people he felt deserved it. Thank you so much to James for popping by and delivering the goods - we think you've got some super fans now!

Your role will be to: • Develop and deliver engaging and informative workshops for LGBTQ+ young people • Provide one to one support to LGBTQ+ young people through an asset based coaching model This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the forefront of youth work and make a lasting, and sometimes lifesaving, impact for LGBTQ+ young people.
