Our 3rd annual Volunteer Month was a great success! This September, our employees dedicated their time and skills to supporting a wide range of causes in the UK, US and The Netherlands. Activities included refurbishing laptops for donation, working in community gardens, mentoring students and teaching children to read. • 🌎 Over 275 employees from our global offices participated, either individually or as part of a team. • ⏱️ Employees contributed more than 1600 hours this year. • 🤝 We partnered with more than 20 charities to support a variety of causes. At Liberty Global, every employee has 24 hours of paid #volunteer time off each year, enabling us to connect with the #community and the causes that matter most to us.

Our #sustainability teams from across the Liberty Global family came together to unpack the latest in Environmental, Social, and Governance (#ESG) trends, discussing the future of sustainability in the #TMT world, Life Cycle Assessments, Digital Inclusion initiatives and reporting practices. Pedalling towards a brighter future 🚴 It was great to see our CEO Mike Fries take part in day one of the #PlumeStrong Cycling Challenge (#PSCC24), which raised over €610,000 for our longstanding NGO partner Street Child. The money donated will support the development of 20 rural secondary schools in Sierra Leone. The event featured a challenging five-day, 824-kilometre route from Zurich to Venice that took cyclists – including three-time Tour de France champion and #PlumeStrong Ambassador Tadej Pogačar – through winding mountain passes and tough terrain. Climate change is affecting highly vulnerable communities and regions – and it’s widening the gap in access to education for children. At New York Climate Week (#NYCW), Molly Bruce, our VP of Corporate Responsibility and ESG Comms, joined a Street Child panel with fellow leaders to discuss how to close the gap to ensure no child is left behind. The speakers, including the President of Liberia, His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr., agreed that public and private sector collaboration is key to tackling this cause – especially through digital infrastructure. Molly spoke alongside fellow panellists from around the world: Honourable Gbeme Horace-Kollie, Liberia Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Yasmine Sherif (Education Cannot Wait (ECW)), and Louise James (Accenture). 🌎 Liberty Global employees came together yesterday for our Global Town Hall, hosted by our CEO, Mike Fries, who led with an update on our business and highlighted our team activities during #volunteering month. He was joined by Formula E CEO, Jeff Dodds, who detailed the incredible story of Formula E’s rapid rise to become the fastest-growing motorsport in the world, and their exciting ambitions for 2030 and beyond. Tech leaders Adrian Drury and Tina Rodriguez took us through the latest Gen-AI integrations on our #entertainment platforms which are aimed at enhancing customer experience.
