We are holding our quarterly meeting today, an opportunity for partners across Lincolnshire to meet and share updates and information. We focus on issues impacting local resident's financial wellbeing and resilience. Speakers/topics include: Graham Metcalfe from Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) providing a general update and details of latest Universal Credit changes. Martin Walmsley from City of Lincoln Council and North Kesteven District Council with Roxanne Warrick providing a general cost of living update including details of The Household Support Fund. Last week we held our Financial Wellbeing Conference. The event saw over 110 people from organisations across Lincolnshire and beyond come together to hear about projects and support available to local residents. Topics covered included: understanding more about the changes to the Universal Credit system, digital poverty hotspots, holistic community support, food poverty alleviation schemes and scam awareness. We would like to thank the many people who worked together to make this event such a success. In particular we would like to thank our speakers and sponsors.
