This week our JUST Lincolnshire team have been out in Spalding and Sleaford, hosting their final "A Space Between" events! They had a great time catching up with the local community about the progress being made in this important project centred around anti-social behaviour. Thank You Lincoln Golf Club!⛳ As part of their ongoing support of YMCA Lincolnshire, a team of volunteers from Lincoln Golf Club braved the cold for the night and participated in Sleep Easy 2025, raising an amazing £2,650 for our housing service. “We at the Golf Club think YMCA Lincolnshire is a great organisation to work with and we can’t wait for 12 beautiful months of us all working together and supporting those at risk of homelessness in Lincolnshire.” – Paul, Lincoln Golf Club Members of the club also collected and donated over 150 shower gels to provide for residents on entry to our supported accommodation in February. We are extremely grateful for the support of Lincoln Golf Club so far this year and look forward to continuing our work with them! The residents of South Hykeham are dancing their way through Village Halls Week at South Hykeham Village Hall's weekly "Keep Fit Dance Classes"!🕺 An attendee of the dance class expressed her gratitude towards the classes run by her local village hall saying: "it gives me a reason to get up in the morning to go and meet people! We had a fantastic time on Friday night sharing a Chicken pie with members of the community at our EAT! Community Meal. We'd like to say a big thank you to Ringrose Law for sponsoring March's meal and as always a big thank you goes out to all of our volunteers that supported us in serving food and clearing away plates. Spaldings Ltd’s participation in YMCA Lincolnshire’s Sleep Easy 2025 was truly inspiring! On Friday, 7th March, CEO Paul Bray, COO Nigel Whelan, and eight team members joined nearly 50 participants from various organisations outside Lincoln Cathedral, spending the night in cardboard boxes. This heartfelt gesture highlighted the struggles faced by those without stable housing. For 15 years, Spaldings has supported the initiative by providing cardboard boxes, and this year, they took it a step further by experiencing it firsthand. Their dedication helped raise over £1700 for YMCA Lincolnshire’s vital services.
